Boating
Take out
the canoe or kayak and paddle up to the fish ladder or down to the Connecticut
River. You can explore the coves and small streams along the Salmon River
and even head up the Moodus River.

Swimming
The water is nice in the river throughout the summer. Simply put the ladder in and jump in. Be aware of the current and we advise water shoes as the river bottom is muddy.

Hiking
There is 47 acres of land to be explored. You can follow the path along the river to the last cottage - if you keep going on the small path through the woods you will come to a water fall. Make sure you take a compass (or GPS) and hiking supplies - we do not want to lose anyone.
